My Tasks

My Assignments is the second module on the main navigation panel. This module is designed for all the employees working in the organization, so they can keep track of their activities, projects and all the assignments they may have. Along with the tasks and projects, users can also keep a check on their snapshots and timesheets. My assignment has multiple sections to provide different information to the users, so they can perform more efficiently. The following are the major sections for my assignment's module. 


Section 1: My Tasks 

Navigating to My Tasks 

Step 1 

Click My Assignments > My Tasks. 

 

Step 2 

Upon clicking My Tasks in the navigation bar, a new page will appear on the screen. This is the My Tasks panel. 

 

Section 1.1: My Tasks Panel Overview 

My tasks panel at StaffViz allows users to keep track of tasks assigned to them. This way employees are more informed about their performance and manage their tasks more efficiently. 

In My Tasks you can find data for all your previous and current assigned tasks. My Tasks section has many useful tools for data searching, sorting and more. 

1: Projects Drop Down 

Use the dropdown to select from your assigned projects and sort related tasks easily. 

 

This option saves time when you are trying to sort tasks related to a specific project. 

2: Search Bar 

Locate your task(s) instantly by name or keyword, saving time compared to browsing through long lists. 

3: List/Card View 

List view and card views are both methods for displaying information in a mobile app or on a website, they offer different visual presentations.

1.1.1: Lists View 

 

StaffViz lists view provides users with the following information. 

  1. Sr#: Serial number. 

  1. Task Name: This column displays the task name. 

  1. Project Name: Project name to which the task is affiliated with. 

  1. Status: Either In-Progress or Pending. 

  1. Allocated Time: Total time assigned to complete the task. 

  1. Time Spent: Total time you have spent on the task till now. 

  1. Due Date: Specific date before which you should complete your course. 

  1. Last Activity: The date you last worked on this specific task.

1.2.1: Card View 

The card view section allows you to view your tasks in a card like view, where each card represents a separate task. 

The card view section further expands to small and large card options, so you as a user can choose your preview as per your personal preference. 

 

The card view provides you with the following information. 

  1. Task Name: This column displays the task name. 

  1. Project Name: Project name to which the task is affiliated with. 

  1. Allocated Time: Total time assigned to complete the task. 

  1. Due Date: Specific date before which you should complete your course. 

  1. Last Activity: The date you last worked on this specific task. 

  1. Time Spent: Total time you have spent on the task till now. 

  1. Status: Either In-Progress or Pending. 

 

 

4: Sorting Options 

Due Date: Sort your tasks based on the due dates. This option allows the users to track the upcoming due dates of all the assigned tasks. 

Course Name A-Z / Z-A: Arrange tasks based on the alphabetical orders and save time. 

Created At: Arrange your tasks based on the date of creation. 

Updated At: Arrange your tasks based on date of update. 

Task (A-Z) (Z-A): Arranges your tasks in alphabetical order.

5: Filters 

This filter section allows the user to view all the filters applied on the data they are viewing on this panel.
